WorthCalc's calculators are for general informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, investment, tax, legal, or other professional advice. Results are estimates only, not investment or financial advice — every calculator on this site simplifies a real-world decision into a set of formulas and the numbers you provide.
Estimates, not guarantees
Every calculator — including the installment true APR tool, subscription audit, Costco membership break-even, EV vs. gas TCO, rent vs. buy, commute cost comparison, latte factor, and cashback break-even — relies on simplified assumptions that are documented on each tool's page (for example, a fixed investment return rate or a flat annual price increase). Real-world outcomes depend on factors these calculators cannot know: future interest rates, market performance, inflation, your personal credit terms, promotional changes, and more. Small changes in assumptions can meaningfully change the result.
Not financial or investment advice
Nothing on this site should be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, borrow, lease, subscribe to, or cancel any specific product, service, security, or financial instrument. Before making a significant financial decision — taking on debt, buying a home, purchasing a vehicle, or signing a membership contract — consider speaking with a licensed financial advisor, accountant, or other qualified professional who can review your complete financial situation.
No professional relationship
Using WorthCalc does not create an advisory, fiduciary, or professional relationship between you and the site operator. We are not a bank, lender, broker-dealer, registered investment advisor, or insurance provider.
Accuracy
We try to keep the underlying math correct and the default values reasonable, but accuracy is not guaranteed. Public figures referenced on tool pages (such as membership fee ranges) are approximate and may change over time; always verify current pricing and terms with the relevant provider before relying on a calculator's output for a real decision.
Default values are examples, not live market quotes
A prefilled price, rate, fee, return, inflation assumption, or useful-life estimate exists to demonstrate the controls. It is not a national average, a currently available offer, or a forecast. Test a conservative, central, and adverse scenario, then review the full calculation instead of relying only on the highlighted result.
Verify the controlling document and date
A calculator does not replace a loan disclosure, purchase agreement, lease, insurance policy, tax notice, benefits rule, or official filing. Rates, fees, taxes, incentives, and legal rights can change and may depend on where you live or which provider you use. Check the page's review date and confirm current terms in writing before acting.
Advertising and external links are separate
An advertisement or third-party link is not an input to the formula and does not mean that WorthCalc recommends the advertiser. Verify a provider's identity, authorization, costs, risks, and contract independently. Visual placement near a result is never a ranking or endorsement.
Errors and urgent situations
A primary source can be revised, an external page can move, and code can contain an error. Report reproducible differences with the page URL, inputs, shown result, and expected result. For suspected fraud, payment distress, a legal deadline, or an emergency, contact the appropriate authority or qualified professional immediately rather than waiting for a calculator or email reply. Mandatory rights and liabilities that cannot be excluded by applicable law remain unaffected.
