About WorthCalc
2026-07-03
WorthCalc exists because most "is it worth it" questions get answered with gut feeling instead of arithmetic. Is that 0% installment plan actually free? Are your subscriptions quietly eating a month's rent every year? Would a Costco membership pay for itself at your spending level? These are math problems, not opinions — so we built calculators instead of writing another listicle.
Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. There is no backend that receives the numbers you type in — no account, no upload, no server round-trip. You can check the math, close the tab, and nothing you entered ever leaves your device (aside from anything you explicitly choose to save locally for next time).
We currently publish eight calculators covering everyday money decisions: true APR on installment and BNPL plans, subscription cost audits, Costco membership break-even, EV vs. gas total cost of ownership, rent vs. buy, commute cost comparison, the "latte factor" daily habit calculator, and cashback credit card break-even. Each one is free, ad-supported, and built to give you a plain verdict — not just a pile of numbers.
WorthCalc is independently run. We are not a bank, lender, brokerage, or financial advisor, and nothing on this site is investment or financial advice — see our disclaimer for details. If you spot a calculation that looks wrong or have a tool idea, reach us at the address on the contact page.
